Had a happy moment last night: one of the young boys at the theatre I teach at saw me eating a WW steamed pudding (YUM!) and out of no where said "Are you on WW? My mum does that... You don't need it though!"
I was smiling all night after that one! =P
Anyhoo... Back to today:
Good: Felt like the hungry caterpillar today but only ate 1.5 point soup so I was fine =)
Bad: SOMEONE left a packet of Caramel Crowns open on the bench and despite my best efforts 10 of my points disappeared!!!! Felt soooooooo mad at myself for giving in.... PLUS I'm still sick!!!! So STILL no gym....
Ugly: 10 days of antibiotics to go....and 10 Caramel Crowns to work off!!!! =S

Day 2: Try, Try Again!

Mood: Cold!
Feels great to be back on the wagon!
Loving F.I.N.T.A!!! I have post-it notes on my mirror, my fridge, my pantry door, my laptop, my work folder and the book reading at the moment to drum it into my head!
Good - Had my favorite super-filling winter breaky (1 packet of OT's So Tasty Oats, 1 serve of light vanilla yogurt and 20g of seed mix - 5.5 points but keeps me going til lunch!) and am spending today rugged up watching bad daytime telly with a hot cup of tea - it's lovely!
Bad - Had friends over this morning and they bought VERY yummy apple turn over... only had 1/2 but it was 5 points...=S Managed to stop before I did any serious damage and will work it into my extra points for today =) Also no gym because I'm down with the flu! =(
Ugly - This weather! So rainy and grey!
I was also meant to weigh in this morning but I was in a rush so tomorrow it is!!!

Day 1: Trying Again...

Mood: Optimistic!
Ok.... So I'm officially back.
I've missed feeling great when I look in the mirror, I've missed my clothes fitting better, I've missed not dreading WI and I've missed the optimism I had before....
The big turning point was my birthday (30th of April), when I looked in the mirror and was NOT where I wanted to be. My goal was to be below 80kg and instead I was back up near 85! =S My resolve was somewhat dampened when I re-sprained my ankle by falling in a hole while out with friends! (Great b'day pressie! =S)
But now I AM back. I will NOT make more excuses. I leave for Europe in 6 weeks tomorrow and I am going to look HOT when I get on that plane!
Feels good to be back! =)

DAY 93: GOODY GOODY!!!

Mood: EXHAUSTED but HAPPY!
HELLO!!! =D
Finally have time to post (life been flying by recently....) So much has happened:
GOOD:
- Been running 5km at least 4 times a week for the last 2 and 1/2 weeks... gets that little bit easier every time!
- I DID IT! I CLIMBED MT KOSIUSZKO LAST WEEK!!! (And was the 4th out of 45 people to reach the top!!!)
- I have a new boyfriend!!! =)

- Holidays start today!
- Made it back to gym for the first time in weeks last night
- Keeping up with tracking
- My gym is starting Zumba soon!!!
- I'm just loving life right now! =D

- Got burnt while climbing Kozzi (despite wearing a hat AND 1/2 a tube of sunscreen!)
- Ankle still sore!! After 4 weeks!!!
- Only lost 200g this week due to TTOM =(
UGLY:
- My Sunburn Post-Kozzi (can you SAY beetroot!?)
Should have more time to post now holidays are upon us - which is good!

Day 80: Back in Groove!

I'm been caught up with assignments and life and stuff so I haven't had time to post.
WI on monday was predictable... with my ankle still out of order, staying the same was a comfort. FINALLY started getting back into it yesterday with a 5km jog/walk... did better than I expected. Pushed myself to do it again today and bumped up the jog to walk ratio while cutting 10 minutes off my time!
Foods going well too.
Pumped for my Thredbo trip next week - KOSIOSZKO HERE I COME!!! =D

I think my goal for Easter will be to to get to 81kg... that's 2.7kg to go! =)
I earned some serious good karma today by giving blood for the first time (even though I'm terrified of needles!) Hurt a little but its good knowing that 10 minutes of discomfort can save someones life. Plus it felt good to get weighed and not feel total ashamed!
Did have the mini bounty the nurse gave me... I know i shouldn't have but i figured I deserved it. lol.
Unfortunately, my ankle is still swollen and sore... its almost been a week!!! So no gym for me today. =(

Day 59: Today Doth Suck....

Mood: In Pain.
Ugh. I am quite miserable.
Sure, my points are going well and made it to gym today....
BUT... I was MENT to see my favorite band (my chemical romance) in Sydney tonight but they cancelled the tour so I went to gym instead..... tried total body for the first time and was loving it until my foot slipped of the edge of the step and have busted my ankle to the point I cant walk on it! =( OUCH!!! Pushed through the rest of the class but am now in agony!

Well I've had a mixed day... was HORRIFIED by a 800g gain despite my gym marathon last week... explained later by TTOTM =(
I figure next week should be a whopper lose to make up for it!
Splurged on brand new puma joggers and matching shorts (dark grey and hot pink - my favorite combination =D) which really gave me a boost during my work out tonight (my usual gym workout)
Food's been good. We had a big sausage sizzle today which I passed on and took my own salad sandwich... making sure to sit upwind of the bbq! =)
Will keep up my gym this week and focus on getting a BIG loss next week rather than my gain this week!

Day 54: Showtime!

Mood: Bleh.
I AM SOOO TIRED!!!
Gave gym a miss today... figured that the other 6 hours this week made up for it. Plus I spent the arvo chasing little kids at theatre.
It was our local show this weekend so I spent the night on screaming my lungs out on the matterhorn and breakdancer before cruising down show bag alley... It was tough passing on the yummy-looking cadbury bags (my usual choice)but I settled for a Gossip Girl one with lots of pretty headbands and such instead! (V. proud for that one.) Had a nibble of my brother Pluto pup but not enough to do any damage. =)

Kept up my gym marathon day 5 today! Burnt 680 calories in an hour and felt great!(though v. tired!) 56 exercise points so far this week!
Foodwise, I went over points through social snacking after dinner with friends but feel over-full and sick now.

Day 51: Powering On!

Got up nice and early to go to gym. Did a Step class and 20 minutes of split treadmill and weights. Then headed to the local cafe for a big ol' salad sandwich on fresh baked bread.... YUM! Not too bad for 5.5 points!
I was still tired from last nights gym session and almost dozed off in step class. =S
I'm doing a 12km walk at Mt Kosciuszko in March... My goal is to be fit enough to keep up! =) My EOFW will be to get under 82kg! that's 2kg by the end of the month... a bit ambitious but here's hoping! =)

Today was my gym's 2nd birthday so they had a live dj in and it was a great vibe! Got so into it i earned 13 exercise points!! Also kept under points foodwise (even had room for a WW chocolate sundae!).

It's been really humid here though which makes sleeping hard... thus my energy was really down today.
Still pushed it and snuck in an hour of gym working up 10.5 exercise points... it felt good to be back on the treadmill after a week a couch-potatoness!

Day 44: Still sick... But getting there...

Mood: *Sniffles!*
FINALLY starting to get better =) and foods been good this week. Even had spares for a WW sponge pudding after tea last night!
Unfortunately still being sick means still no gym... I can almost feel my muscles getting the wobbles with everyday I miss... and to make it worse, just as I loose the fever.... I get a cough!!! And now have a sore throat and a WHOLE lot of work to catch up on tomorrow!

Day 43: Back on Track!

Hey!
I've been rather down and out this last week... Topped off my the death of my scales yesterday... Well I bought new ones and had my WI this morning... I've lost 1/2kg!!! I can't believe it! I also achieved my 5% milestone! So one the whole... a good start to the week!
Also.. melted some extra lite cheese through left over cabbage from last nights dinner - yummy as!
I'm still ill so I won't be going to gym today either... I'll just have to be strict with food to make up for it.

Well... I'm (sort of) back on track after last weeks mess up... well and truly under points but was too ill to make it to gym this afternoon. =(
Was also meant to weigh in this morning but my scales decided to tell me I was 93kg and then die... Might try again tomorrow with new batteries and (Hopefully) a better attitude!

In all honesty.... I've been going really well thus far... I've tracked everyday and hardly ever went over... I'm only 800g away from my 5kg milestone....
This week started okay... and then BAM! Out of nowhere I can't stop snacking and have gone over my points 3 days this week! I've still been doing my normal exercise (an hour of gym 4 das a week) but my weigh in is tomorrow and I'm sure it won't be very good...
I've been stressed and a really down this week... I think this caused it...

Day 38: Tofu and New Goals!

Hey!
GOOD: Going well.... been better with food today than last few days..... made udon noodles with vegies and marinated tofu....
BAD: it was very nice but I couldn't help but think about a cheeseburger.... lol. Also couldn't make it to gym but got lots of incidental exercise and will go tomorrow.
NEW: Goals as of today are for February 25th (seeing one of my favorite bands in Sydney and want to look hot =P), Mid-March (Headed to Thredbo for a few days and need to look decent in a swimsuit and then May 8th (BIG music festival and my friends and I are getting dressed up and I don't want to be "the fat one" this year!)

Reaching my goal for January has left me both inspired and enthused!
Had a fairly good day VERY long and VERY busy though.... got REALLY hungry at dinner and went a point over my limit... but I've got 10 points saved this week so far, So I'm not too worried.

Ugh! I have the munchies soooo bad right now! Waiting till dinner's ready though.
I WILL NOT SNACK!
Just got home from gym after another productive/exhausting cardio session. WI is tomorrow morning so I REALLY hope I've lost something! Still got 1.8kg to loose by V-day!
Gym again tomorrow night and when I can from there on. People are starting to notice the difference though - Which is great!
A QUESTION: I've got over 50 points saved this week (as I do most weeks), it is bad not to use them?

I've really gotten into the habbit of WW eating, it seems like second nature now... I also keep thinking "I SHOULD be hungry now.... but I'm not!"... Also am starting to get excited about my trip to Europe in July... ESPECIALLY because I'll be "Packing light"! =D
No gym today... had theatre group this arvo and couldn't make it before closing. Will go tomorrow and monday though. =)
I would kill for some hot chips right now though.

That "I Will" thing really gave me a boost yesterday!
Feeling pretty good at the moment, this is my first month so i didn't set any January goals... I think it will be to get under 85kg by my WI on Monday! 1/2kg to go! Holidays are over as of today.... but it's a new year and I'm gonna make the most of it!
Well, It's 8pm and I've still got 10 points.... EVEN after i had some hot chippys with tea! Dragged myself to gym on the way home and really pushed myself (As I told myself I would!) on my cardio program. Boosted my average elliptical level from 7 to 15!!! My legs killed by the end but I felt very satisfied.
Extra boost came from one of my "frenemies" telling me I looked great! =P

I WILL PUSH MYSELF THIS WEEK!
Today marks 30 days on Weight Watchers for me..... I'm SO glad I made the choice to do this.... I already feel so different!!!
Did an early morning step class @ gym this morning which left me with a total buzz (and sore legs)! Also managed to keep up in the abs section for the first time ever!
I'm officially off holidays on Friday which is a drag, but it'll be nice to spend time with people I'm not related too. =P I need to start planning some lunchbox fillers tonight!

Day 29: Oh So Sweet!

Mood: Sweet As Dude!
Happy Hottest 100 Day! (or Australia Day to the less musically inclined...)
Everything is going sweetly! Had a FABULOUS time with the girls last night, felt great after my WI yesterday and headed out in my black mini dress with pride and new-found confidence! Tore up the dance floor till late and nearly burnt off more than I'd eaten all day!
I have VERY sore post-BDO/last night so won't be going to gym today... will go do an early step class tomorrow though.
I determined to get below 85kg this week.... the lightest I've been since I stated weighing is 84.9kg, and that was the week my teachers gave be 7 assignments due within days of each other and I was fighting with an old friend.... so if i can get below that I will properly scream with joy! =P
Spending today rocking out to the JJJ hottest 100 while sipping on (non-alcoholic) strawberry dacaries!

Day 28: Best Kind Of Loser!

SOOOOO HAPPY! Had my WI and measure today.... (after a disheartening 300g gain last week) AND I'VE LOST 2.5KG!!! That makes 3.2kg total.... great start to a new week! =D
Food is all going well.... baby sat 3 under 5's this morning which was fun... got that big dance party tonight too, which will be LOTS of calorie-burning fun! =P

Day 25, 26 and 27: A REALLY Big Day Out!

Mood: Still Sore.
Big Day Out was FANTASTIC!!!!!!! Better than I could ever have imagined!!! It certainly solved the problem of me not drinking enough water - packed in the middle of a mosh pit filled with half naked boys on a 40 degree day! What made it better was that I managed to keep 10 points under! Had 2 muesli bars (one for breaky and one as a snack) and a chicken kebab and that was it! I was having too much fun to eat. lol. Plus all the dancing and sweating racked up some serious exercise points. =)
Slept till 4pm yesterday but blew out my points on Chinese foods for my granny's birthday but I was famished so I didn't care. =P
BIG dance party in town tomorrow night to end the school holidays with a bang! Another great chance to work off some point while having a ball. =D
School starts friday.... as does whole new set of challenges..... I can't wait!
Weighing in tomorrow - I'm hopeful after last weeks disappointment.

Sorry for the non-post yesterday.... at my Nana's in Sydney so I have to wait till she's in bed to track and such. (She's been the cause of many of my body hang ups and thus telling her about WW would give her FAR too much satisfaction!)
Been going great food-wise. Did a big 6:30am walk yesterday followed by 6 hours of mall trawling. No official exercise today but came in 6 points under so I'm not too fussed.
Weighed in yesterday and cant believe I put on 300g!!! It's "that week" which I guess explains it... but it's still demotivating. I really tried to push it last week and wasn't expecting to gain. =(

Ugh! Sometime I infuriate myself!
We run art workshops and I did really well in resisting the temptation of mini cupcakes and yummy cheeses last night.... only to fall into the trap that is cocktail frankfurts while running a kids party today! I don't even like them that much! 12 points wasted.... =(
Ugh! Rice paper and lettuce for me tonight. =S
Missed gym today so will hopefully go for a walk later on.
On a lighter note.... tried on a dress from the back of my wardrobe that never really fit but i loved too much to let it go.... AND IT FITS! Such a buzz!

I had a lovely 10am sleep in today.
Today was uneventful.... though started to step up my gym routine by going from 20 minutes of treadmill to 10 minutes of treadmill and 10 minutes of split treadmill. Which is MUCH more of a burn!
Slipped up and had carrot cake (UGH! 7 POINTS A PIECE!!!) which sucks but I do love it so!
Can't believe its a week till Big Day Out! AND Two weeks till school!

Mood: Sleeeeeeeeeepppy!
Pushed through gym this morning, must have been tired because it seemed sooo much harder than usual...
Going well foodwise, loving canned soups for afternoon snacks. Perfect for beating the munchies! Vegie Stir Fry with grilled chicken for dinner. Yummy!
Had to go to the dentist today.... it sucked. Did get some AMAZING houndstooth shoes!

Joined a Lose 5kg By Valentine's Day challenge this morning. It seems like a good short term goal.
My reward for completing this challenge will be a DSi - So I REALLY wanna do it! =P
I've already lost 1.1kg, which means I've got 3.9 (Not 4.9) to go! (Better get a wiggle on!)

Got back to gym this morning - glad to get going again. I'm going to the Big Day Out in Sydney next week and I wanna get a brand new (smaller) dress for it! =)
Did my usual cardio, which was a bit of a strain after 4 days of inactivity.
Been pushing my points a bit resently - which is concerning... My main meals are fine but snacking is my downfall.

The dolphin cruise was AMAZING! They swan right up to the boat while we were in the boom net! Got LOADS of swimming in too!
Went over yesterday thanks to a sneaky hungry jacks soft serve - 6.5 points in a single cone!!! =S
Lost another 1/2 kg this week which cheered me up a lot! Down 1.1kg so far!

FINALLY on the mend (though I still have the sniffles and occasional fever-hit...
Can't say I'm looking forward to weighing in tomorrow.... three days in bed doesn't rack up many exercise points. =S I've managed to keep to points as best I can though - which should help.
Great to see everyone getting into loads of exercise! BIG pat on the back to all of you!

Day 11: Still Got The Sniffles!

Actually WANT to go to gym but haven't been able to leave the lounge room. (Luckily got Gossip Girl Series 2 to keep me sane)
Decided to be productive and started to sew a new dress (a size smaller than usual - it's an aspirational project!)
Amazingly managed to keep to my points bot today and yesterday! (Even pinched a few of my brothers hot chips for the first time in MONTHS! =P)
Will hopefully get well tomorrow and throw myself into gym next week.

Greeting from the state of Bed in flu-land! Haven't had a sniffle in MONTHS and now I can barely move! (Thank blog for laptops)
This irritatingly means I can't go to gym and I'm extra hungry! Might forgo points just for today. (Got 23 saved this week anyway from daily gym-ness and lack of snacking)
This just seems like such a set back! I'm eating better and exercising more than ever and just as I get into a routine... i get sick =(

Day 9: STEPping Up!

Good Afternoon!
Early start today to catch my favorite 9:30 step class - kept up remarkably well seeing I haven't been in about 8 months! =P
Splashed out and got hokkien noodles for lunch (we went to the local pub bistro with my Nana, they don't really cater for those avoiding cheese, pasta and fries). Didn't do much harm points-wise though. It was a small serve and I'd only used a point on breakfast (Food + Step class = Yuck!).
What IS good though is that my gym is running a loyalty card promotion - 20 trips this month gets you a t shirt. =P It's silly but I've challenged myself to fill up my card - And fill it up I shall! =D (Already got 4 or 5)

Day 8: Still Going!

Mood: Sore Feet. =P
Finally had time for a proper brecky today.... 1/2 can of chicken, veg and wholegrain pasta soup and a piece of multigrain toast - Yummy AND Filling!
Loads of cleaning today because we've got friends coming up from the ACT tomorrow. I plan to put some REALLY loud music on and double it up as a workout. Also did a 5km walk with my blue cattle dog Tilly. ♥
I can't believe how different I feel after only a week!!! I've got more energy, my clothes fit better and I'm actually sleeping! (I've had insomnia for the past 4 years which has put great strain on my mental and physical health)
Got mad at Patrick (my little brother) for eating all of the foods I bought for me. (Snacks, cereals, fruit, etc) - Not that he cares.

More To Lose!

Mood: Exhausted!
Weighed in this morning..... I LOST 1/ 2 A KILO!
True, it may not sound like much... but as my measurements have changed, I'm building up muscle. Thus making ANY loss great!!!
Did a Balance/Fat Burner double today - Killed, but feel great now!
Need to try and fit in a better breakfast... times pressed me to resort to muesli bars..... which just dont keep me going.
Bought Gossip Girl series one on DVD as a reward for reaching my first goal. ♥
Managed to drink a litre of water today - which is an improvement! =)
On the whole..... a good first week!

HAPPY NEW YEAR: 2010 sure is looking good!

Mood: Cheery!
Survived NYE coming in 1 point under!!! =)
Had a GORGEOUS night. Stayed at the Newcastle youth hostel with the family and the Greek restaurant we went to was FANTASTIC! Food was amazing (and filling) and the open menu meant I could have little bits of everything (passed on herb bread and cheese-filled pastry though). That was followed by an hour or so of traditional Greek dancing mixed with classic disco! Midnight was marked with more dancing, plate smashing and yuuummmmmy Greek honey cake (which i split with mum =D)
What made it better was that the new dress (that was a little tight when I bought it on Boxing Day)was too loose! I had to Hollywood tape it on! After only 4 days! =D
I'll post pics soon!
I also did a 40 minute walk from the beach up to a hilltop lookout and back in the afternoon.
Yesterday was good too apart from going over on 5 point worth of nibbles at a friends place. Didn't sweat it too much though because I went for a swim and had the points I'd saved for NYE.
Last night was spent watching chick flicks with drunk backpackers at the hostel and beating my little brother at chess.
Overall a kicking start to the new year!
