Day 12: Almost Better!

Mood: Feverish. =(

FINALLY on the mend (though I still have the sniffles and occasional fever-hit...


Can't say I'm looking forward to weighing in tomorrow.... three days in bed doesn't rack up many exercise points. =S I've managed to keep to points as best I can though - which should help.
Great to see everyone getting into loads of exercise! BIG pat on the back to all of you!

Headed on a dolphin cruise tomorrow too; looking forward to the sea air and a new (non-sick) week.

Day 11: Still Got The Sniffles!

Mood: Sniffles. =(

Actually WANT to go to gym but haven't been able to leave the lounge room. (Luckily got Gossip Girl Series 2 to keep me sane)
Decided to be productive and started to sew a new dress (a size smaller than usual - it's an aspirational project!)
Amazingly managed to keep to my points bot today and yesterday! (Even pinched a few of my brothers hot chips for the first time in MONTHS! =P)
Will hopefully get well tomorrow and throw myself into gym next week.

Day 10: First Set Back =(

Greeting from the state of Bed in flu-land! Haven't had a sniffle in MONTHS and now I can barely move! (Thank blog for laptops)

This irritatingly means I can't go to gym and I'm extra hungry! Might forgo points just for today. (Got 23 saved this week anyway from daily gym-ness and lack of snacking)

This just seems like such a set back! I'm eating better and exercising more than ever and just as I get into a routine... i get sick =(

Day 9: STEPping Up!

Week: 2

Mood: "AGH MY LEGS!"

Good Afternoon!
Early start today to catch my favorite 9:30 step class - kept up remarkably well seeing I haven't been in about 8 months! =P
Splashed out and got hokkien noodles for lunch (we went to the local pub bistro with my Nana, they don't really cater for those avoiding cheese, pasta and fries). Didn't do much harm points-wise though. It was a small serve and I'd only used a point on breakfast (Food + Step class = Yuck!).

What IS good though is that my gym is running a loyalty card promotion - 20 trips this month gets you a t shirt. =P It's silly but I've challenged myself to fill up my card - And fill it up I shall! =D (Already got 4 or 5)

Day 8: Still Going!

Mood: Sore Feet.  =P

Finally had time for a proper brecky today.... 1/2 can of chicken, veg and wholegrain pasta soup and a piece of multigrain toast - Yummy AND Filling!


Loads of cleaning today because we've got friends coming up from the ACT tomorrow. I plan to put some REALLY loud music on and double it up as a workout. Also did a 5km walk with my blue cattle dog Tilly. ♥

I can't believe how different I feel after only a week!!! I've got more energy, my clothes fit better and I'm actually sleeping! (I've had insomnia for the past 4 years which has put great strain on my mental and physical health)

Got mad at Patrick (my little brother) for eating all of the foods I bought for me. (Snacks, cereals, fruit, etc) - Not that he cares.
Spent last night (and tonight) watching my new Gossip Girl DVD and eating a WW Caramel sponge pudding - A good end to a busy day!

More To Lose!

Weighed in this morning..... I LOST 1/ 2 A KILO!

True, it may not sound like much... but as my measurements have changed, I'm building up muscle. Thus making ANY loss great!!!

Did a Balance/Fat Burner double today - Killed, but feel great now!

Need to try and fit in a better breakfast... times pressed me to resort to muesli bars..... which just dont keep me going.

Bought Gossip Girl series one on DVD as a reward for reaching my first goal. ♥




Managed to drink a litre of water today - which is an improvement! =)

On the whole..... a good first week!

VERY happy with this. =) Kept under points today too; also fit in an hour of gym.... Not so bad for a sunday!

Aiming for a Gym double tomorrow and weighing in in the morning... fingers crossed!
